Chuck Cox



Chuck, a Fitness Coach at Empower since 2017, empowers individuals of all ages to achieve wellness goals and embrace an active lifestyle. With a focus on strengthening the body to enhance overall health and well-being, Chuck believes fitness fosters mental and spiritual resilience.

Before joining Empower, Chuck worked as a Fitness Coordinator at a karate studio and as a group fitness instructor, honing his expertise in weight loss, strength training, and functional fitness. He is an ASCM-certified Personal Trainer with a Bachelor of Arts in English from Thomas Edison State University. In addition to training clients, Chuck is a writer who has published several articles related to health and fitness topics. He is a regular contributor to the Empower blog and other wellness-related sites. 

With over 20 years as a high-performance athlete, including competing in the Olympic Trials and winning the AMAA National Martial Arts Championship, Chuck understands the dedication required for success. Outside of fitness, he enjoys family time, cinema, reading, and making music with his band, Spaceship Days.
