Kyle McGovern
MS, CSCS, PPSE
Kyle holds a Bachelors and a Masters Degree in Exercise Science, he is a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength & Conditioning Association and a Certified Exercise Physiologist through the American College of Sports Medicine.
Kyle was born and raised in New York and attended college at East Stroudsburg University in Pennsylvania. Kyle has worked in many areas of the field, such as Functional Training Studios, Rehabilitation Clinics, and Sports Performance Centers.
He sees exercise as a necessary part of life and a key to a better quality of life. His philosophy is Movement is Medicine. Kyle has experience working with clients across the spectrum. Ranging from young athletes, active adults, complete beginners, individuals rehabbing an injury, and even helping those living with chronic conditions such as diabetes.
Kyle has been active his whole life and has always been fascinated with human performance. He loves to get to know his clients and sees himself as a coach and an educator. He believes in the dynamic of him learning from his clients as much as they learn from him.
While Kyle is new to North Carolina, he loves staying active by weightlifting in the gym. He also enjoys going out and spending time with friends and family. Kyle is a huge sports fan and will talk about sports all day long. He also has 15 years of Martial Arts training and has competed nationally; his highest rank is a second-degree black belt.
