Personal Trainer/Performance Development Coach
Cierra is a certified personal trainer through the National Association of Sports Medicine. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Exercise & Sports Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. While attending Carolina, Cierra was a sprinter on the track & field team specializing in the 400m.
Combining her love for human movement and helping others, she chose a career in Personal Training and has worked both one-on-one with private clients and as a group fitness coach. She has experience working with clients who have goals of weight loss, increasing strength and muscle tone, and clients who want to improve their overall fitness and health. Being a competitive athlete herself, Cierra also quickly drew interest and experience as a sports performance coach, working with athletes of various sports and experience levels.
As a fitness professional, Cierra enjoys helping others achieve their goals and helping them push past any self-limiting beliefs. A part of Cierra’s training philosophy is to train everyone holistically. She believes that whether your goal is to create a healthy lifestyle as an adult or become a successful athlete, you must also have a healthy mindset and practice healthy eating habits to maximize results in the gym.
When Cierra isn’t in the gym training clients, she does her own training for the 400m with a post-collegiate track and field group. She also enjoys watching crime documentaries and scary movies and loves trying new restaurants with family and friends, especially those with great seafood.
